While in Italy on our honeymoon, my wife and I shared a lot unique experiences in addition to the typically beautiful scenery and art. The trip inspired me to create a vintage style poster series ofthose unique personal experiences and inside jokes or stories. Initially the audience for this project was only my wife and myself. However, the result was a wonderful set of posters that only two people understood. To make the project a bit more universal, I turned it into an ad campaign for Alitalia Airlines that uses a first-person narrative style to tell unique stories involving travel in Italy. With engaging, atypical images and a tag that encourages a personalized interaction with Italy, the project went from the personal story of two people to one that anyone who travels to Italy may experience.
