I was peeling a pomelo the other day and decided to draw it instead of eating it straight away. Just as I was about to start peeling it further I thought about all the amazing textures and patterns, the symmetry and the fleshiness of this amazing fruit. It started as a very spontaneous drawing, but took a number of relaxed evenings to complete. I haven't enjoyed drawing much since I graduated, so it was a great way of rekindling that relationship. Just as I was about to start peeling it further I thought about all the amazing textures and patterns, the symmetry and the fleshiness of this amazing fruit.
