A reflection on women’s plight around the world, especially in Iran, where I was born. As an Iranian woman who has experienced discrimination in all aspects of life, I want to give a voice to those who cry for equal rights and opportunities. I found my educational experience fulfilling and liberating and this piece is a manifestation to that achievement. It symbolizes the rising hands out of joy and roaring to the world that every woman deserves to have access to education. It is also symbolizing that simply through dedication, nothing can stop a woman from achieving her goal. Read Less
