We were tasked to create a corporate identity and posters for Roger Wolfson & Associates,
a medical orthotists an prosthetist company, which would represent their desire to help
people to become able and lead fulfilling lives
Solution
Just like a prosthetic is an extension of a severed limb, ascenders and descenders
in typography change the existing condition of a basic letter. By taking a word
with a negative connotation, symbolic of a person with a disability, we changed it
using ascenders and descenders into a word with a positive connotation -
implying hope, ability and freedom.
