Poster Campaign
Poster campaign for a blockbuster photography exhibition at the Birmingham Museum of Art. Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955–Present is the first major museum exhibition chronicling this history of rock and pop music photography through the lenses of more than 100 photographers. The show focuses on the photographers and the interaction of the still image and music. As such, the campaign aimed to shift the focus form the celebrity images to the photographer through intriguing headlines that referenced the impact or influence of the photographer in that particular image. The title of the show and individual photographer are called out in the body copy of the poster.
