Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 23rd of July 2012 I signed off what came to be my most precious painting / illustration. Just like a joyful ride I started with no plan ahead; a rough sketch of a monkey with a question in his eyes “what’s wrong with you?
Something about this monkey made me talk back and try to answer his question. Why I’m I sad? Why lazy? Why demotivated? Why look back? Why can’t I stop painting? What’s wrong with me?

I had a lot of fun laying every brush stroke on this madness, back and forward, change this, tweak that. Two weeks; until it felt like I’m doing more harm than good. I signed off and we became dear friends.
As you can see it’s decent in size; exactly 35” x 46” I have prepared two purchasable versions; a high end wrapped canvas art and an affordable poster print. Both can be found in my art shop at Zazzle
Funniest thing happened when a friend first saw it; he smiled and answered “absolutely nothing's wrong with you”. Passion, family and friends will make life worthwhile. Nothing’s wrong in questioning, nothing’s wrong in spending endless time on what deep down feels true and right, in perusing happiness, in taking on challenges with a smile.
There is nothing wrong with you my friend, just stop reading about drawn monkeys

Love, peace and harmony,
Moe
