A graphic re-interpretation of the film, "Week End" by Jean-Luc Godard
This installation is a printed re-interpretation of the film Week End, by Jean-Luc Godard. The director satirizes the idea that a material and consumer culture is one that is fundamentally destructive and will eventually cannibalize itself. To reinforce this idea in a printed form, representative images from the film were chosen and re-contextualize onto 27 D.I.Y. shopping bags.
