Filling the gap between digital natives and the world wide web consortium
Agency: None  –  Client: World Wide Web Consortium  –  Job: Analysis, User Interface, User Experience, App Development

Idea: When generations are forming, they should learn from each other.

Solution: Today the internet surrounds us everywhere in our daily lifes. It even gets invisible - we do not notice it primarily as the internet. There are many touchpoints in the gerneration of the digital natives such as Gmail, Google+, Facebook, iCloud, Dropbox, Evernote, Twitter, Pinterest, WordPress, Tumblr, Flickr, to name a few.
But where does the internet come from and who develops it - thats the unanswered question of that generation.

Under the leadership of Tim Berners-Lee, the World Wide Web Consortium sets standards such as HTML, CSS, PNG, SVG with the vision to create one web for everyone, accessible, mobile, since 1994.
My work aims at narrowing the gap between the heavy users of the internet, the digital natives, and the developers of the internet, the World Wide Web Consortium. The diploma is crafted as a touring exhibition at international university campus with a department of computer science.
The work consists out of six infographics, a web app and a documentation.

Original format of the infograhpics is 1100X1500 MM.
