A painting documenting elements of the white trash culture in norway and in the usa, originally inspired by the cruising culture in the countryside of norway. Not all people that go by the definition of white trash today are poor people. There are also those who choose to not go to college and get an education, and who choose to eat nothing but junk food and to stay at home their whole lives. I'm not judging: I'm simply very fascinated by how different people choose to live their lives. I'm interested in the aesthetics of the poor lifestyle of the rich. The clothes, the cars, the food, the music. //////////////////////// Self initiated project Acrylic paint on canvas Size: 420 mm x 590 mm 2013 Read Less
