Kollahomba is an indie game that has been in development since 2008. The game is focusing on core gaming experiences, removing unnecessary game elements used in the gaming industry. Such concepts are, for example, the use of extra lives and deaths.
By abandoning realistic graphics, we are no longer competing with the big mainstream game titles. Instead, we shift the focus and allow the player to enjoy the actual game while not concentrating on it being "unrealistic". The paper aesthetic also explains the games blocky graphics and gave the game the retro vibe we sought.
For the promotion material we needed a different kind of look to separate from the actual game. Therefore, the promotion materials focus on the game's adventurous travelling.
