How do you get the attention of executives at top pharma companies like Baxter, Pfizer and Astra Zeneca?
Pull a rabbit out of a hat.
Lab books have always been essential to the scientific process but it can also be tedious and stressful to follow all procedures precisely and without error. When a big pharma company gets in trouble for fouling up a drug experiment due to human error they get in big trouble with the FDA. Companies pay fines, lose money due to retesting, and people lose their jobs for negligence. How do you eradicate human errors? Automate the entire process with checks and balances to guarantee accurate results before the FDA ever arrives for the audit. This is where VelQuest comes in.
They knew they had a good product, but how do you get it to those top decision makers that it matters to most?
We devised a hollowed out lab book, with some brief stats on violations due to human error and the gist of the overall problem. We then provided the solution in the form of VelQuests promotional video, played on an iPod hidden in the book. All 71 packages (so far, and with more to come) are all handmade and hand lettered, one at a time, and shipped directly to top executives via Fedex.
You can make one yourself. You'll need to start with a handmade jig, a multi-tool, a jigsaw and a lot of patience.
