Concept Ideation
The concept of Vantageous is to empower individuals with smartphones to get access to production value editing capabilities. Traditionally, only groups of people with very expensive equipment and software can capture and edit multi-angle videos. With Vantageous, any group of people can get together with their smart phones and shoot and edit a multi-angle video.
Scenario: Filming your daughter's piano recital
The following is a storyboard of the specific scenario of a family filming their daughter's piano recital and various pain points that they can encounter.
Sketching Interactions
Based on the concepts and user scenarios, I then proceeded to sketch the interface interactions. The sketches take into account each platform that we were designing for : iOS, Android, and Web

These flow diagrams depict every interaction that the user is able to reach within the application. These flows were then validated with developers to ensure the back end could support everything that the user interface would need to do.

Wireframes
I created wireframes to go further into detail about where elements should be placed on each screen. The wireframes were then thrown into keynote prototypes to test with target users. The wireframes were updated accordingly as we made iterations.
Prototyping
The wireframes were then translated into interactive Keynote prototypes. I ran these prototypes via the Keynote iPad and iPhone app to simulate the interactions with the design.

Usability Testing
The app was tested at various stages of development with groups of users to figure out where the pain points were. We iterated based on the feedback we got in these sessions.
