Vierfalt is the name of Arthur Sawatzky’s bachelorthesis. He studied landscape architecture at the Beuth-University of applied sciences in Berlin. In cooperation with Peter Rudolph I developed the visual concept for his thesis. Arthurs work is about the future utilisation of the former Berlin TXL airfield. The whole concept is based on the four winds (west, north, east and south), which represent the four pressure groups around the field. The visual design is derived from the look of weather maps and uses these metaphors to visualize the different areas of use on the former airfield. Good time, great whiskey! Read Less
