At the beginning of 2010, we were commissioned by Vans to create a variety of one-of-a-kind painted shoes for their nationwide Custom Culture Campaign. Each pair debuted in part of a Customs display in various Vans stores throughout the world. The most notable locations our shoes appear are the Union Square store in San Francisco and a new flagship store in Beijing, China.

For several pairs we drew inspiration our ever-growing vintage camera collection (Cameraluv). Our Polaroid pair is a mixed media collage of photos from a recent trip up the California Coast. One of our favorite pairs were the ironic Vans on Vans which we created with various vehicles like the VW microbus and the iconic A-Team type vans into a fun and colorful shoe.
