On the Tempelhofer Freiheit
2009 the airport Tempelhof in the middle of Berlin was closed. In spring 2010 they opened the huge area for the public and gave it free for different activities. The buildings from the 1930's are now used for various events like fashion shows and concerts.
Walking along this field is a fantastic experience – getting in touch with the endless width of the sky. And meanwhile people do great things like mobil gardening in old woodboxes or create sculptures out of all kind of old materials. Mostly the area is used for sport activities.
