This project came to life during a talk that me and my boyfriend were having about life, art society and other stuff like this. It was one of those very enthusiastic moments when you feel very inspired to do a lot of beautiful, creative things and you become full of energy and motivated. These moments don't usually last very long, but ours did & after a year and a half, we are still using plaster skulls as our unconventional canvas to express ourselves! Read Less

Hand painted plaster skulls covered with exotic patterns in vivid colours, inspired by totemic figures and primitive symbols. In Maori "UPOKO" means "head".
