Chase launched a new rewards redemption site for all their card products. I was an art director on the Chase team at T3 and became very familiar with this client over the course of 3 years. Before the site had a name I was helping to plan the customer experience. I designed wireframes for navigation, search, shopping, auctions, and checkout. I created prototypes for user testing. I developed creative concepts for quarterly promotions and adserving. I sourced hundreds of photos that were a key branding element. Because the site was new, customer education was a big goal. We had to explain to new visitors just what they could get for their rewards. We talked about travel, merchandise, experiences such as concerts, auctions, gift cards, and cash back. Having a complete understanding of the program was a major boost to the success of the work I created.
