  • Typography is an important element that must be used properly when one is communicating a message. Not only should we be able to read what is written there, but the message should be easily recognizable and interpreted through the choice of font.

This project is a typographic experiment where I explore the balance between readability and design, where I study to which degree the shapes and the expression of the letters help convey the information in the text.

How can the design on the letters make it easier to convey the message that the text says? Can you perceive the message only by looking at the visual expression, not by reading the text? Such questions are the basis for the solution of these posters.

This is my final exam at Westerdals.
