Impacting a public space with typography to not only inform the masses, but challenge them on their notions of what "graffiti" really is.
Challenging people to view typography, regardless of application, as art not graffiti.
Type Specimen posters were designed and wheat-pasted in Manhattan. Aim was to impact a space with typography that would also challenge the idea of graffiti. Would people still respond negatively towards the posters if they were "elegant?"
I then created a process book documenting all of the research and thoughts that went into the creation of the poster.
