Typographers book: "Frederick Goudy and Martin Majoor, A Century Apart". Two distinct typographers a century and a world apart. The book exposes the two distinct philosophies and methods of the Typographers.
This book was created for my Typography 3 class for the Corcoran College of Art + Design under the guidance of professor Francheska Guerrero.
Both the content and the design as well as the execution/construction is done by me.
The cover is made out of powdercoated steel with the help of Gary Lamb of Extreme Powdercoating ( extremepowdercoating.com The squares as well as the individual letters were cut out using a waterjet cutter.
The book is Perfect Bound using leather for the spine.
