• *Huge thanks to Jessica Hische for the inspiration for this project.
I love type. But i kind of afraid of type too, 'cause i have no experience in this field. So, for me this project is a way to overcome my fears and make something, using nothing but type.
All the letters are custom made by me specially for this project.
So, about the project itself. The tarot is a pack of playing cards (most commonly numbering 78, but this set consists of 22 major arcana), used from the mid-15th century in various parts of Europe to play a group of card games such as Italian tarocchini and French tarot. From the late 18th century until the present time the tarot has also found use by mystics and occultists in efforts at divination or as a map of mental and spiritual pathways (wikipedia).
But some cards just represent my impression of their meaning. For example, the Force. This word gives me some 80's sci-fi movies feeling, so it shows in type.
To sum it up, i don't think this deck can be used for some professional fortune telling. But for an amateur type lover, who reads combinations using some guide books - why not?  :)
