  • Aerial Landscapes over Silicon Valley, San Francisco and the Bay Area
As part of our ongoing project to build an extensive library of brand imagery for a Silicon Valley based financial institute, photographer James Bareham returned to the San Francisco Bay Area in the late Autumn of 2013 to shoot more portraits of tech entrepreneurs and VCs.

In addition, James and the team began shooting a broad range of landscape and lifestyle imagery to support the client portraiture. As assistant Justin Bowen is also an accomplished flight instructor, it seemed obvious to also take to the air to capture aerial landscapes of Silicon Valley and San Francisco.
The team took two separate flights, the first in a DA-42NG twin turbo prop and the second in Cessna. Flying from Livermore airport in the East Bay, they photographed the San Francisco and the bay; the Golden Gate Bridge and Mount Tamalpais; the 280 corridor over Crystal Springs Reservoir; Woodside, Palo Alto and Mountain View; the East Bay and the hills Pleasanton Ridge and Augustin Bernal Park.
This gallery is a selection of the final imagery from those over two hours over the bay.
