A tutorial for Computer Arts magazines taking the reader through some of the steps I used to create my Fluid Animals illustrations
Published:
Following the interest in my Fluid Animals illustration series over the passed months, Computer Arts Magazine asked if I'd round off the year with a tutorial on how I achieve some of the fluorescent and transparent effects.

The 2 page tutorial features in issue 209 of Computer Arts and takes you through from pencil drawing to the finished artwork via transparency techniques, the Gradient Mesh tool, opacity values, radial gradients and opacity masks.

If you like the Orca Whale artwork featured here you can find it in my Fluid Animals 2013 Calendar, on sale and shipping worlwide from www.FluidAnimals.com.
