Camels of the Tunisian Desert - Illustrations & Promotional Scroll
A self-directed project that occured during my final year of university. I chose a very different, almost opposite subject matter to my previous works. I focused on ways to interpret the dusty, hot and dry atmosphere of the Sahara desert through use of texture, colour and weight of the mediums. The final piece is a panoramic view of a desert scene, sprinkled with sleepy camels who wait for their next batch of tourists, presented on an unravelling scroll for a tactile, holdable artefact which makes a a fun and unique self-promotion piece.
