Good -vs- Evil: Classroom Exercise in Designing for Opposites
In my packaging class, we were asked to pick a pair of words that were opposites. I chose "good" and "evil." We were then given the opportunity to create packaging for toothpaste or soap. I chose to make Kids' Toothpaste with "evil" being represented by the Fire Breathing Dragon and "good" with the archetypical Knight in Shining Armor. I enjoyed the opportunity to hand letter the type for the titles and create the artwork for the boxes and the toothpaste tubes.
