The dust from the limestone lies heavily around Nisse Nilsson, when operating the drills towards the block of stone. The breeze from the sea close by removes the dust from the stone as soon as the drilling stops. Despite the heavy work and the environmental full of dust and mud in the quarry, Nisse and his collegue Anders Andersson both enjoy their work. They are both employed by Ölandssten AB, situated with office and industry in Sandvik, Öland. This is also where the large boulderstones are delivered from the quarry of Hornsudde, to be cut down into manageable sizes. Read Less
