I am a Overseas Taiwanese born and raised in Seoul, Korea. I was 18 when I first moved to Taipei for study, I never go back to Korea since then. I met my wife in Taipei, had 2 lovely kids, I have been living in this city for almost 20 years. When I think of Taipei, there are 2 sets of key words that comes across my mind... I'll start with the negative ones, which are "crowded", "bad traffics", "scooters", "stupid politicians", "bad TV shows", "humid"... On the other hand, Taipei is a "friendly" place for foreigners, it's a city that serves endless great "food" 24/7, night markets, various restaurants, snacks, peral teas, you name it, public transportations are very "convenient", you can pretty much get to anywhere you want, and people are "warmhearted" overall... Taipei, the city that I love and hate, it's not a perfect city, actually it's far from perfect, but it is a perfect place for me and my family at this moment. Read Less
