This collection is a selection of cover art created for The Oakland Post at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. During my time with the student newspaper, we completed two redesigns of the print publication and one of the website. As design editor, I was responsible for creating and maintaining the visual identity of the newspaper and helping plan feature pages and special sections with editors, reporters and photographers. Being a weekly publication, I created cover concepts based on the chosen week's theme or cover story and also designed page layouts for single page and multi-page news and features articles.
