The Giants are part of the Fairytales project, coordinated by lithuanian artist and lecturer Marija Marcelionyte. Marija found 35 lithuanian folk farytales, which were not published before and split them among about 70 artists working in different media. Every artist had to create an artwork illustrating a fairytale, it could be a painting, a movie, a sculpture, an installation or whtaever. All the project is followed by an exchibition and catalogue. Exchibition can  be seen (till January 20, 2010) in Art Center in Kaunas, Lithuania.
