A team of designers in the UK and Germany got together to create a sustainable collection of clothing which got showcased in the Mercedes Bens fashion week in Berlin S/S 2014. The prime idea was to take military surplus garments and reconstruct them as fashion ensembles. Thereby reusing what would otherwise be considered waste. The fabric (military surplus garments) sponsor was a UK based company known as Reworks. Read Less

A team of designers in the UK (UCA, final year Masters students) and Germany (from HTW) got together to create a sustainable collection of clothing which got showcased in the Mercedes Bens fashion week in Berlin S/S 2014.
 
The prime idea was to take military surplus garments and reconstruct them as fashion ensembles. Thereby reusing what would otherwise be considered waste.
