In 2012 an architectural experiment was established within the shell of the former Battersea Power Station. Its name was Project Battersea. The aim of Project Battersea was to explore how emerging practices in living technology could be used to redevelop redundant structures. Over time the these technologies developed a form of cultivated autonomy, as new forms of space were carved and grown into the fabric of the building forming a symbiotic juxtaposition. A network of surrealist interfaces allowed for engagement and cultural exchange between man, technology & nature.
