  • A study on building mechanical/environmental response systems instigated this design exercise. Daylight interacts with the interior spaces of a building directly, indirectly or is blocked completely. With this model I studied the patterns that light creates when designed to be incorporated an exterior building system. This system provides texture while filtering the light to underlying spaces. The intensity of the light filtration can be adjusted with the scale and aperature of the triangular louvers and the grid defined pattern can be adjusted to serve as a facade or a functional interior texture.
