  • Using reclaimed cellular solar shade material I dyed and formed the pleated materials into a city of tessellated shapes that crawls, creeps, and spills over the edge of the pedestals that it sits upon.  On the top the forms are reminiscent of an urban environment that grows out from the center.  The regular geometric shapes build upon themselves and move across the base creating a new crystalline structure that takes on a life of its own.  Installed at PlatteForum, Denver, CO 2012
