Shot on a GoPro Hero. Music by Conrado Kempers. Barcelona, Spain. what I´ve done - hurted myself - filmed - edited
In this movie I wanted to try my GoPro, join with some ideas I had while playing Braid and mix with some poems of the portuguese poet, Fernando Pessoa, also known as one of his heteronyms, Álvaro de Campos.

"Our world, with its rules of causality, has trained us to be miserly with forgiveness. By forgiving them too readily, we can be badly hurt. But if we've learned from a mistake and became better for it, shouldn't we be rewarded for the learning, rather than punished for the mistake?

What if our world worked differently? Suppose we could tell her: "I didn't mean what I just said", and she would say: "It's okay, I understand", and she would not turn away, and life would really proceed as though we had never said that thing? We could remove the damage but still be wiser for the experience.

Tim and the Princess lounge in the castle garden, laughing together, giving names to the colorful birds. Their mistakes are hidden from each other, tucked away between the folds of time, safe."

Braid, world 2: Time and Forgiveness

"Sentir tudo de todas as maneiras,
Viver tudo de todos os lados,
Ser a mesma coisa de todos os modos possíveis ao mesmo tempo,
Realizar em si toda a humanidade de todos os momentos
Num só momento difuso, profuso, completo e longínquo."

"To feel everything in every way,
To live everything from all sides,
To be the same thing in all ways possible at the same time,
To realize in oneself all humanity at all moments
In one scattered, extravagant, complete, and aloof moment."

- Álvaro de Campos

A project that seeks to show that the time varies with each person. Depending on what they are doing, their stage of life and some choices that you cannot go back to change.
Shot on a GoPro Hero, edited and post produced in After Effects. I used the Twixtor plugin to give more emphasis to time warp and Looks for the color grade.
The music was all created and composed by my brother, Conrado Kempers.
And I would like to thank Sara Infante and Catarina Barroso for the help in the video production. And Ines Barroso for the solidarity at the awkwardly hospital stay. :)
The portuguese chicks that really rock!
