VM and Product Trend book created for Creative Specialist assessment/Interview at TOPSHOP, The mall Middlesbrough
I created this Trend Book in November 2011 for an interview for the position of Visual Creative Specialist at TOPSHOP. The Book Contains images taken by myself of the Middlesbrough TOPSHOP/TOPMAN store of visual merchandising and Product Displays in store as well as the most recent Visual Merchandising installations at TOPSHOP's Flagship, Oxford Road, London and online trend book images from the season. 
These images were taken of the dispalys on mannequins in the front window and just inside the store,

The display at the front of the store featured 5 standing and 2 seated mannequins dressed in staple casual winter garments including coats, Jumpers and boots. The central mannequin is styled in some of the winters biggest high street trends wearing a khaki parka, denim turn up shorts, fair isle knitted coloured tights and a tapestry holdall.

The Mannequin display inside the store featured a arched stacked chair installation visible behind the the mannequin heads on the top photo. Styled similar to the mannequins in the front window to create a consistent style direction and also featuring great winter staples, this time featuring a navy duffle coat, a faux fur coat and the same fair isle knitted cardigan as in the window.

From Top left clockwise 

1 The Mannequin from the from window styled in a number of winter staples,
2 A collection of mannequins in the center of the store stands out on the mirrored plinth and continues the winter staples theme with coats and knitwear. The mannequins here are styled again with wigs with hats, hooded coats and ear muffs. 
3 A lone mannequin dressed in a casual over-sized t-shirt with skinny jeans and a knitted bobble hat stands between the denim collection and the basic t-shirt collection to remind customers buying jeans they could purchase a new tee to complete their outfit, or hint to customers in the t-shirt collection they need some new denim too.
3 The shoe section is located in the center of the store opposite the tills where all shoppers will pass before they pay for their purchases and hopefully pick up a pair of shoes to go with their new outfit. The glitter shoes are placed in prime position were featured in TOPSHOP'S online A/W12 look book were a TS best seller.
This display was situated to the right hand side of the front entrance when you enter the store.
The lining up of the chairs as a platform for the mannequins nods to the stacked chair installation in the center of the entrance. The mannequins are dressed in the New Mod trend are in monochrome.
All are showcasing the ankle boot trend with different skirt and trouser lengths to show the versaitility of the product with different looks.
From Top Left Clockwise 

1 A collection of winter footwear displayed on a white shelving unit shows the customer the full range of ankle boots in one place and within easy reach. 

2 The denim collection with a number of over-sized t-shirts cleverly placed close to hand.

3-6 A number of ways the bag collection are displayed within the store including hung on mannequins arms to show customers where the bags will hang when worn.
