Project (2007) - with Stefano Zocca and Mattia Fabrin
The project involves the basic modules of about 36x12m, forming a row of courtyard houses and each unit can host two people. The flat roof and the north-south orientation allow developing a natural cooling system that only uses the wind: in the longer side of the building there is an offset from the concrete wall over the slab that creates a slot in which the wind penetrates. The air comes out through the skylight in the living room. The flat roof also helps to recover the rainwater for the internal pool, emerging from the fountain placed on the outer wall of the bathroom. Materials used are local stones concrete and brick.
