Why run from a tornado when you can drive your homemade tank right into it. Flew to Oklahoma for a one-day shoot in the blazing sun. While shooting, it became clear that the TIV (tornado intercept vehicle) was a rockstar. Toughest part of this photoshoot was trying to get people to stop taking their own photos with the vehicle. Most interesting part of the shoot: discovering what the locals call an Amber Bock float. Yes, 1 part beer/1 part ice cream. It was pretty delicious actually, who would have thought.
Once again, I called upon my ace-up-my-sleeve photomagician Marc at Indigo Studios to bring this tornado scene to life.
