Publication: Stoneyes SMP: the influence of “play your imagination” in the design process Concept Description: Since the SMP is the influence of “play your imagination” in the design process, interactivity is a priority in this guerrilla advertisement. Stickers with adhesive on the masthead were placed along Orchard Road, specifically on the pavement and the bench area at Takashimaya, which the publication will sold at Kinokuniya bookstore. I applied a layer of adhesive on top of the sticker, on the part where the masthead lies. When people walk pass, dirt from their shoes will be trapped onto the sticker. The message will then slowly be revealed . It triggers peoples’ curiosity to what the message will be, hence they are “playing with their imagination”. These stickers are like individual space on the road, so by stepping onto the sticker, they are also stepping into a designer’s space, which link back to my prelaunch. A very light emboss effect was added on the masthead to indicate people where to step on. Read Less
