Conceived in 2001, the Sony Walkman campaign is one of two Malaysian advertising campaigns to be featured in Jim Aitchison's "How Asia Advertises". First breaking as a series of print ads, the campaign evolved into ambient installations and in-situ communication targeting youngsters on their daily commute.
