Song of Childhood
Stills from an CCI Award nominated stop motion animation based on the Peter Handke poem.

Depicting the contrasting the carefree nature of childhood and the vices of adulthood, viewed through a projection , that burns and skips.  Each scene relates to a specific vice synonymous with being an adult- make up, cigarettes and alcohol.  These scenes are layered with private childhood movies.  The scenes then reverse, returning to childlike innocence and a clean slate, represented by the make up free face in the end scene.  Created using stop motion and video footage.
