When SLAP's One In A Million Contest received unprecedented attention and sponsorship after more than six years of competition, it became imperative that everything look as polished and professional as possible.

This year the contest was planned as a kind of reality TV experiment, and I was inspired by '70s and '80s game shows and set designs for the identity. The catch phrase "shedding light on unknown skaters" also gave birth to the spotlights used in the animation sequences of One In A Million's commercials and introduction videos.
