  • The 20'x 20' SkyDock form began with a model exploring the relationship between "wall" and "volume". Intersecting horizontal and vertical planes begin to shape volumes by creating enclosed and implied volumes. Strategic cutting away of planes creates a second layer of complexity within this small space.
  • This study model explores cutting the 20'x20' cube along its central axis allowing it to be transported in two parts on a flatbed truck. One quadrant is designed to be shifted from closed to open, adding more square footage when docked. When in closed position, it also closes the living area off from the entry.
