Citypark Shopping Mall is a main shopping centre in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Until recently, this vast complex didn’t have any professional branding and signage solutions.
The visitors (especially first-timers) had problems navigating through the number of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Our client needed a visual identity redesign, including new way of finding as a part of this effort. The main challenge was to create user-friendly interface, which would make the Citypark-brand more compelling, funny and recognizable.
Due to the usage, this complex is divided into a parking-house and shopping area - both with specific requirements. We wanted to establish a visual “connection” between these two spaces. We based the visual solution on the creative usage of interior-spaces, modularity and dynamic interpretation of existing corporate colors.
