This showreel includes my work as Art Director, Lead Artist and Art Manager between 2006 and 2008, presenting real-time footage of an undisclosed AAA title developed by Crytek.
I created a visual style guide that defines the artistic vision for the game through visual references, color palettes and descriptive look & feel of all assets. I communicated this “vision” to concept artists, organizing and directing concept art & mood paintings that I used as references to create level layouts, lighting, post-effects and camera animations shown in this video, using CryEngine's Sandbox editor.
I scheduled, managed and supervised the 2D-3D production of a team of 14 artists to deliver technical and visual benchmarks for all different categories of assets presented in this showreel, using Agile development.
I actively worked with the R&D department on troubleshooting visual and technical issues, improving visual quality and performance of the CryEngine 2, and defining production pipelines to be used by the Art team to create State-of-the-Art assets optimized for next-generation consoles.
