I'm always shocked at how little people know about basic cookery, and how easy it is to do things like cook some pasta (hence the Shocked Chef name) - The no nonsense guide on the packaging is a way of educating people who can't be arsed with watching Nigella, Jamie and the Roux Brothers, but still has the fun element of cookery that no one should forget.
