Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG)
This project, exhibited at the World Gas Congress 2012, engages visitors with the story of how Shell is developing the world’s largest floating liquefied natural gas facility through the use of large-scale multi-touch screens with ‘multitaction’ technology.
The exploration of content was stimulated by a cube which triggered stories when applied to the screen surface, creating a dynamic visual panorama of slide shows, films, 3D models and animations. I worked closely with the AD, animator and developer, to design the interface and user journey. I was responsible for the art direction and design of more than 20 short animations on different aspects of FLNG, accessed on a self-guided journey.
