Through out scary movies i take my glasses off when i get scared or don’t want to watch something, being visually impaired with out my lenses i see the things blurred and out of focus. For the assignment i choose to combine the ritual of shark night with my reaction and response to the content in the films and show this in a way that’s was through my view. Its allows the viewer of my photos to have a sense of empathy as they are seeing what i see and stepping into my shoes. What you see is what i see and allows you to have a connection with the photographer. The images i captured are the subtle aspects and intrigue into the films scary moments, i didnt want to show you the attacks or the full on shark as it takes away from this abstract idea of shark night. The sequence and colour tones help bring consistency to the finals. The ordering was a way of showing the intensity and build up that movies create while watching. Read Less

The assignment was focused on a ritual, i choose to develop the experience i have twice a month with my friend when we have shark night.
