Functional Whimsy - Collaborative work with potter Steve Smith
The series of bowls is wheel thrown by potter Steve Smith using a white porcelain - stoneware.  A colored slip is applied and whimsical illustrations are freehand carved using the sgraffito technique by Rebecca.  Each bowl is bisque fired, glazed, then high fired to ensure durability and functionality.

Because of the freehand nature of the process Rebecca uses, each bowl is one of a kind.
