This collection encapsulates the idea of sport driven pieces with an urban or “lifestyle” base. Urban wear is a concept that, to me, deals with the day-to-day trials and tribulations that people who wear these pieces may go through. These pieces will have construction that mimics the movements needed to be successful on the playing field, but at the same time are built using fabrics you may see as “active wear fabrics.” They will have a life of their own in the way they are constructed and the way the fabrics are manipulated. You will find that pieces have certain elements or sections that were designed with purpose, and are functional, but at the same time the aesthetics of the detail will draw the viewer in. You will see gusseting, pieced sleeves, articulated hoods, and other things that allow the wearer to have full range of motion without giving up coverage. Pocketing is one of the major details that drive the line. They give a utility to the pieces in the collection. I did not want to simply take away fabrics or seaming, as that would be too easy. I wanted to add the areas of interest or articulation as the body called for and as the designed developed. With these pieces having such an ergonomic feel, I wanted to use fabrics that moved with the body but created fresh and iconic silhouettes. The fabric selection of this Fall/ Winter line ranged from lightweight twills to mid-weight wool and cotton jerseys with the periodic use of nylon and mesh. Trims feature natural buttons, toggles, cording, and waterproof zippers for protection and aesthetic. Read Less
