I based my personal identity on the phrase 'Ameliorate It,' which means to make something bad or unsatisfactory better. 'Ameliorate It' is a play on my name (Amelia) and also what I want to do for a living; improve and refresh design.
This direct mail project is linked to the theme of the circus and fairground, drawing inspiration from phrases such as 'Roll Up! Roll Up!' and 'You Won't Believe Your Eyes.'
I hand rendered typography and screen printed posters, 'Official Programme,' (portfolios), letterheads, and feedback slips to send out to design agencies in the local area. I then packaged them in mail tubes upon which I had hand rendered the words 'Unroll! Unroll!' to relate back to the 'Roll Up! Roll Up!' on the poster. All the elements were rolled up and tied together inside of the tube.
